Cameron Brown is an Assistant Research Programmer for Cybersecurity Researchers of Waikato (CROW) after first becoming involved with CROW in 2014 when he began his honours project under the supervision of Dr Ryan Ko.

At the completion of his project, which examined Provenance Visualisation in WebGL, he was employed full time by the lab. His role is to carry out research and development while supporting the continued development of the lab.

Cameron is also involved in the development and maintenance of the website for STRATUS, the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment’s $12.2 million Cyber Security Project, and is part of the organising team for the New Zealand Cyber Security Challenge.

He holds a Bachelor of Computer and Mathematical Sciences in Computer Programming.
